These goggles allow you to see in full color during the evening and switch to infrared mode for complete darkness. Akaso kindly sent me a pair to try out, so I unboxed them to check out everything included.

To put them to the test, I started by using them at the chicken coop during the day, then later returned at night to see how well they worked in the dark. These goggles didn’t disappoint! Not only do they let you see in the dark, but they also come packed with features like 4K and 2K video recording, 5MP photo capability, and 4-hour battery life per battery.

When I used them at the chicken coop, I could see everything—the chickens, rats, cats, and even spotted a mystery creature near the barn! The clarity was incredible, and they performed far better than I expected.
